Young Farmers Program

Grow confidence, purpose & connection one peaceful Monday at a time.

Welcome to Our Farm-Based Learning Experience

Woori Yallock Therapy Farm believe that nature has the power to nurture. Our Young Farmers Program offers a peaceful space for individuals to connect with animals, experience life on the farm, and build meaningful skills, all at their own pace and in their own unique way.

About the Program

The Young Farmers Program is a small-group experience designed for people receiving NDIS support.

Held every Monday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, this hands-on program welcomes up to six participants each term.

Each week, participants engage in calming and rewarding farm activities, including:

  • Animal care (feeding, grooming, learning about farm routines)
  • Nature walks and outdoor experiences
  • Seasonal farm tasks
  • Smoothie making and healthy food habits
  • Gentle social interaction and supported learning

It’s a slow, supportive rhythm that encourages independence, self-esteem, and a deeper connection to the natural world.

NDIS-Supported Care

A program designed with support, inclusion, and purpose in mind

What to Expect

This is an outdoor program, so please come prepared for a fun, messy, and enriching day on the farm!

Participants are asked to bring:

We offer smoothie making at each session and provide fresh bottled water throughout the day.

The Young Farmers Program is proudly supported by the NDIS, making it easier for participants to access meaningful, hands-on experiences in nature. We work closely with plan managers to ensure a smooth, respectful process, so you can focus on what truly matters: connection, confidence, and the joy of being on the farm.

Health and well-being are top priorities.
If a participant is feeling unwell (cold, sore throat, or cough), we kindly ask that they stay home to ensure the safety of our farm family, including those who may be immunocompromised.
In cases of illness requiring medical clearance (such as gastro, lice, or COVID), return will only be permitted once full recovery is confirmed.
